OBITUARIES

Floyd Cage;  Funeral services for Floyd "Ray" Cage, 72-year old resident of Woodville, who died on Saturday, April 1, 2000, at his residence, were held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 8, 2000, at  Hopewell AME Church.

Mona Doris Carter;  Funeral services for Mrs. Mona Doris Carter, Carter, 89-year-old resident of Wilkinson County, were held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 7, 2000, at Pioneer Baptist Church.

Ray C. Cavin;   A retired employee of Copolymer Rubber and Chemical Corp. in Baton Rouge  and an employee of Express Carriers, Ray C. Cavin died on Wednesday, April 5, 2000, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center- Bluebonnet.  He was 74, at resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Wilkinson County.  He was  a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.   Funeral Services were held at Welsh Funeral Home in Baton Rouge, at 5:00pm on Friday, April 7,2000, 

Edgar A. Jackson;  A resident of Baker, La. Edgar A Jackson died on Thursday, March, 30, 2000, at his home.  He was 87 and a native of Woodville.  Funeral services were held at 10:00am on Thursday, April 6, 2000.

Gary Lee Stokes;  Gary Lee Stokes died on Tuesday, April 4, 2000, at West Feliciana Hospital in St. Francisville, La.  He was 52, born on October 13, 1947, in Wilkinson County, and was a resident of St. Francisville La.   He was a retired boilermaker with 30 years of service.   Religious services were held at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Gloster at noon on Friday, April 7, 2000.
